Kaitlin Adams
Kaitlin Adams was born in Oceanside, California, where her passion for animals showed itself at a young age when she would frequently bring home strays to the amusement and sometimes dismay of her parents.
Kaitlin recently returned to San Diego after spending the last 20 years living in Texas where she worked in small animal medicine as a veterinary assistant and technician and rode horses competitively in show jumping and three-day eventing.
While in Texas, she attended college at Tarleton State University in Fort Worth, graduating with a B.S. in geology. Though she enjoyed working in the geoscience industry, her heart always led her back to veterinary medicine.
After returning to San Diego, Kaitlin began working to attain an additional degree in Veterinary Technology while working for Halcyon Veterinary Services and in a GP small animal clinic. She loves being part of a team that strives to provide exceptional care to recently rescued animals as well as long time furry family members.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, adventuring with her 2 dogs (Molly and Jake), scuba diving, and international travel.
